"Cosy, little barn"

We had such a wonderful and relaxing stay in this little, charming barn. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay while still respecting our privacy. The barn itself was clean, cosy, and had everything we could possibly need and more.The hot tub was a real treat after a day of exploring. The location is idyllic; peaceful and quiet with lovely walking trails right on the doorstep and the stunning Black Loch practically in the backyard – perfect for a paddle boarding session. Its proximity to Edinburgh was also a great bonus for a day trip into the city. Meeting all the dogs and parrots was definitely a highlight of our visit- they are such a characters! We wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic place for a getaway!

I don't think there was anything that we didn't like.

"shortened due to the weather being atrocious. no one’s fault there!"

the host was friendly and provided me with good information about the property facilities. amenities provided.. sky glass tv, coffee machine, crockery, kitchen utensils were excellent. hosts provided lots of robes, hoodies and toiletries etc. property was clean enough. the water was hot and the shower good.

there was no parking at the property, so we had to park on a busy main road, and we were unable to have our car in view. unfortunately the property had a strong smell of dogs, we opened every window and as the rooms were so small we were unable to reduce it. I now know that the property is dog friendly, hence the odour, but we found it quite uncomfortable. I wish I had read more information before I booked, so it is my fault I was not happy, not the hosts.

"Exactly what I was looking for"

The hosts Bill and Fran were so welcoming, instantly felt at ease and comfortable. Travelling with two dogs, one a puppy the property was safe , dog proof and nothing was a problem

My only complaint was the midges which the owners could have done nothing about
