It was very quirky, Anne was a lovely host, very informative about the surrounding area. Place was very clean aswell. Peaceful.

Quirky and cosy with everything you would need for a luxurious stay.

Only one thing that I would suggest would maybe be a canopy for a bit of cover from the sun for during the day.

Very cosy and very DOG FRIENDLY!! My dog absolutely loved it here! So much secured space to run about! Poppys Palace is soo cosy, warm and spotless! Hottub is great! Absolutely loved it and will be booking again!!

It was very relaxing, had everything you needed in the property, included milk, orange juice, eggs pancakes and jam.

The field for dogs to run about in could be doing with some maintenance because it was very over grown and with the rain, it was very wet so couldn’t really let our dog run about in it.

I enjoyed the fresh welcome items ; milk, eggs and orange juice it was a lovely touch and made me feel welcomed. The hot tub was perfect and was exactly as expected it was very private and quiet. The host was very lovely and understanding.

I personally found little to nothing that I didn’t like during my stay although I found that some of the jets in the hottub were not working on one side but this didn’t impact the ability to use the hottub, it worked perfectly apart from that

Extra special touch, fresh pancakes, eggs, milk and orange juice all provided. For a self catering accommodation this is a lovely touch.

I loved how welcoming and clean the accommodation was.

We had called some days prior to our stay to see if re arranging was an option as our four month old who was coming with us wasn't well. Anne immediately dismissed this as the cleaners had been paid. So we decided our son was feeling better we came along. The place was easy to find, private, and very well kept. Small gestures were very welcoming. Homemade pancakes on arrival were a beautiful touch but the tub they were in had mould on the inside. Our son had an explosive poop, as babies do. We decided to sit dad in the shower and baby on his lap but the shower was freezing and didn't seem to heat up.. we did try multiple times during our stay. We did go in January which could explain the cold water but all the same disappointing. Other than these we did enjoy our stay the bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was absolutely immaculate. The morning we were due to leave from 8am construction works were being done directly beside where we were which was very annoying.

Stunning little lodges set on a family run farm. Anne the owner was lovely and really welcoming, couldnt have done enough for us. The lodge was excellenly equipped and cosy and the hot tub just finished it off.
