Great location, clean, loved the biscuits when we arrived!

Curtains were a little thin

Comfortable, well equipped, clean, peaceful location.

Thin curtains in bedroom let light in very early.

Lovely cotton linen. Well equipped. Comfortable and clean and most of all we loved the beautiful garden wiith outdoor dining furniture Comfy beds. Short drive to Southwold

The double bed in second bedroom a bit of a tight squeeze but we coped! Less furniture in that bedroom would help greatly.

Gorgeous home in a fabulous location

Nice house felt very peaceful and spacious for just the two of us. Shower broke while we were there and was replaced/fixed the same day which was great. Nice 20ish mins walk into Southwold kept us away from the maddening crowd! Garden was lovely (although it rained nearly every day we were there unfortunately). Everything that was needed was there with a few exceptions (see below)

Strangely no microwave or bread knife. Curtains in the main bedroom were so thin it meant the bright morning woke us up at 5:30am. Might be nice to have some heavier curtains. Shower didn’t work initially (per some previous reviews) but was replaced for us so should be fine for future guests. Furniture felt a bit mishmash for our tastes but all functional and clean. Might be worth getting a more modern, larger TV for future guests but we didn’t watch it so not an issue for us.

Quiet location, cottage larger than expected, very nicely decorated and furnished, nice big garden with plenty of seating areas

No bread knife, hard beds, and we couldn't get the shower/ bath working at all . Very steep cottage stairs should be mentioned too, we just managed them! Plus constantly barking dogs next door( owners we found out!) But did go quieter after we sent an email.

Wel equiped kitchen, very clean and bright. 1 private off street parking bay. Handy corner shop at end of road

Heating on a timer that did not match our occupancy. Description recommended taking logs for the wood burner. Woodburner was a gas effect wood burner. Very cosy and easier than transporting logs if only we had known. Small screen TV. Not usually a mjor concern but a winter stay and wished to watch a film in the evening. Approx half hour walk along road into Southwold but in the summer there are intersting footpaths to take.

Exceptionally clean and very well decorated. I liked the elderly building appearance with its ultra modern interior.

The `finger tip' hold handrails of the steep stairs. I consider handrails allowing a complete `hand grip' would be very much safer. The length of the car parking facility was to short for my car, however parking immediately outside the property entrance was not a problem.
