"Perfect for families planning to explore Lewis and Harris"

The cottage is equipped with everything you could need in a home away from home and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. It is ideally located for the ferry terminal and town centre shops. It's location is a perfect base for exploring all Lewis and Harris have to offer. The cottage met the needs of our multi generational family and even welcomed the four legged members of the family. We will have such fond memories of our stay for many years to come.

Das Benside Cottage ist ein traditionelles Haus, welches von außen etwas unscheinbar aussieht. Innen ist es sehr geräumig mit Küche. Speisezimmer und Wohnzimmer. Gefallen hat uns, dass der Holzfußboden im ersten Stock schön aufgearbeitet worden ist. Die Zufahrt zum Grundstück geht über die Einfahrt des Nachbargrundstückes, welches unser Gastgeber Angus mit seiner Familie bewohnt. Angus ist sehr freundlich, zudem stellte er uns einen leckeren Wein, Obst und Milch zur Verfügung. Herzlichen Dank dafür!

"A very dog friendly convenient place handy for the beach and for Stornoway"

it was very handy for Stornoway but still outside town. It has an enclosed garden so it’s very good for the dogs. It was very clean. It was comfortable and has all the facilities you need. Angus was very charming. He made us feel very welcome and we felt the dogs were very welcome too.

Very comfortable and home from home. Lovely welcome by Angus and the added extras of shortbread, wine etc were really thoughtful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

"Superb"

+ Lovely location, lots of space so family that lives on the island could visit. We got 9 adults in the dining room! Close to Stornoway and easy to locate. - The duvet on the second double could have done with being a bit bigger; if it had been cold weather it would have been insufficient for an adult couple.
