Benside Cottage

Beds were very comfortable so important to sleep well. Everything we needed was available in the property. Sofas were lovely would like to have taken them home 😄 Nice touch to receive complimentary wine and lovely shortbread milk and bread.

Bathroom was a wee bit chilly - there is a blower heater and a heated towel which we had to put on hours before a shower to take the chill off! Location is very close to Stornaway which is great, but we couldn’t walk the dog from the house as very busy road.

Personal touch and instruction from the host, made it easy to understand their process. Keys in secure location. Home was excellent, a proper home away from home, we are already planning our next stay - longer next time, too. Thank you Angus and Moira! PS your dogs are adorable

Location, spacious, clean, ideal for dogs and a very well equipped kitchen. Lovely extras on arrival - wine, chocolates, local bread and milk and oatcakes. Also lots of fruit. Really lovely touch.

Benside cottage was clean, comfortable, warm and made cosy. Parking is right by the cottage and there is small secure garden for our dogs. The hosts provided milk, wine, bread, biscuits and fruit, household cleaning items and essentials like foil, salt and oil plus much more. Lovely friendly hosts without being intrusive and answered questions by text promptly.
