Nice welcome breakfast basket. Lounge was cosy as we're the bedrooms.

Bed far too soft. Kitchen lacked a few things.

Very comfortable and cosy cottage, right in the heart of the village. Great location for stunning walks. Excellent pub in the village, and a handy shop too. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed to cook our own meals.

It would be even better with a wood burner of some sort instead of the electric heater in the living room. Also it would have been useful to know there isn't really a garden as such. The little courtyard out back is fine but you can't let your dog out for a wee in the morning!

The location, cleanliness and cost

Everything was perfect for us.

Quaint cottage with plenty of character. The village is a delight and the cottage is situated near the local pub, the Red Lion which serves great food and a selection of real ales.

The mattress in the main bedroom is very soft, maybe not a problem for some people but gave my wife some problems.

Warm, cosy, great location.

A bit cramped

Everything was perfect. The host supplied biscuits and cereals and there were plenty of information about the area.

The mattresses were a bit soft for us, but nothing major.
