BARR AN CHNOIC HOLIDAY LETTINGS

The house has 4 bedrooms and 3 complete bathrooms. The location is great to visit the west part of Ireland. The best thing is the kindness and availability of Helen, one of the owners. I had a medical issue and she organised an appointment in a health centre nearby the house. Our stay there was unbeatable

Great property for a family holiday. Plenty of room and very welcoming hosts.

The few things we didn't like were really trivial.

Spent 3 nights at Barr an CHNOIC with my daughters,their husbands and 3 grandchildren The house is just beautiful, more than exceeded our expectations. The hosts were fab, meeting us at a time that suited us and explained everything.ie the key collection etc The house was spotless, kitchen fully equipped which was fantastic. Everything was thought of is terms of what you would need for cooking etc Utility room was fab as well The hosts left us a tin of home made scones, jam and even a bottle of wine in the fridge We will definitely be booking again for future family visits Thank you Helen & Margaret for such a lovely home and making us feel so welcome xx

Family of 9 stayed here (6 adults, 2 children and a toddler) and we all can’t speak highly enough of it. Hosts Helen and Margaret are so friendly and helpful, typical Irish, made us feel so welcome. Plus they live right beside the house so any problems would be sorted straight away. Homemade scones and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival which was a lovely touch. Also tea/coffee/milk/butter/jam waiting for us. House itself is very spacious, plenty of room for everyone and it has the most beautiful view over the lake. Very clean and even when we stripped the beds, the bedding underneath is super clean as well which is something I always look at. Also a very big garden. Great location to explore the lakes, not too far from Limerick City. 2 lovely places to eat called The Thatched Cottage and The Whiskey Still. The Thatch especially was amazing. Unfortunately it rained pretty much the entire time we were there but there’s an indoor activity centre only half an hour away which the kids loved. Trampolining, mini golf, bowling, soft play, lovely cafe, lots of those annoying claw machines which my daughter is obsessed with 🙈. All in all, we were very impressed with the house and location, and we’ll be recommending to all our friends.

Only thing I can think of is that the doors are very creaky, need some WD40 (anything to keep the kids asleep 😁)
