Stunning views, good location, warm friendly welcome. The kitchen facilities were really good and the whole place looked great.

It's quite small. Theirs only 2 bedrooms.

Self catering but hosts had provided milk, wine, chocolates, tea & coffee Cottage was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The bus service, free in our case, we went to Hebden Bridge (15 minutes), Halifax & Howarth within an hour. Keithley (90 minutes) and Skipton (2 hours). Best evening meal was at the Top Brink, Lumbuts (15 minutes) the only time we drove. Hebden Bridge for evening meals. Plenty of walks ranging from very gentle to extreme.

The cottage was cramped with just 2 people. We knew Todmorden very well from years ago but whilst it now has 3 large supermarkets it only has a 'Spoons' (The White Heart), a Thai and an Indian restaurant in the Town Centre Monday to Thursday. One more appeared on Friday at what we used to know as the 'Mucky Duck' (Black Swan), now named something else, was open on Friday.

I was late to check in but that wasn’t the case with Gary was ready waiting and gave us a friendly welcomed. A lovely little place to getaway. would 100% recommend and will be staying there again in the near future.
