The property is set on a beautiful land and the views are stunning. It is spacious and there’s plenty of nature surrounding. There’s also many books to read.

The upkeep of this property is not met. Maintenance in the house is itself is not being kept. The door in the tv room does not lock and I had to pull a couch against the door from the outside. There’s no heater or electric blankets for the rooms or a working fan for when it was hot. There are extra blankets. There’s no dishwasher especially when it’s a large group of people.

We did not stay in the property as the property was double booked. I did however walk through the property and found it to not be what I was expecting. It was filthy and unkept. I would never book this site again. The place is a mess.

The jacuzzi was brown, the furniture on the porch looked like it had been found in a dump and placed there. Blinds where damaged and not working properly. The caretakers lived in a broken-down shack with old cars which guests have to drive past to get to the house, which is next door to the rental property.

Nice location, house had character, and was comfortable and clean enough.

House requires extensive maintenance. Loose / missing door handles, cracked walls, broken window blinds, appliances that didn’t work, old / tired bedding, dirty carpet in the lounge, no area info or nearby activity info available. Jacuzzi appeared to be leaking.

It was peaceful and the views where amazing. The house was clean and comfortable.

The jacuzzi did not work eventhough the supervisor tried his best to be of assistance.

Incredibly amazing views - scenic, tranquil and classically rustic - the ideal country cottage. The perfect place to hunker down and unwind and relax. Our host was super accommodating and always available. The onsite help was extremely accommodating and always available to clean / tidy up and ensure everything is in its place

Honestly there was nothing that I could say we didn't enjoy about the property.

The property is set on a large stand with magnificent views. The kitchen window overlooks the garden and mountains. Lots of fireplaces and doors open to the garden

It is a beautiful house with so so much potential but the neglect is very evident. The blankets in the cupboards are all dusty and the overall cleanliness of the house is not up to standard for what you pay per day. Lamps are broken. Doors and locks are loose and broken off. The darts and pool cues were all broken. There is water damage all around the inside of the house and in the bathrooms. Towls were washed thin and very small for a large person.

The location excellent. Kitchen well equipped. Hot tub with views to die for but leaking.. Definitely recommend electric blankets in winter. The fireplaces good idea but maybe chimneys need cleaning as house was left smelling of smoke especially when one in formal lounge was used.

House was neat and clean, great value for money. Showers were great and plenty of hot water.

The braai is in bad shape. No dry firewood available.
