Bittles Cottage

Fabulous cozy cottage in a great location for unbelievable walks but also a short drive to Yeovil for late night food when all the local pubs had finished serving ( after 8.30 so understandable ) Loved the stay and would like to return Xx

No shower

This is the second time we’ve been here. We love the homely feel and old features. Definitely will come back again.

The location was quiet. We liked the garden and conservatory. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The aga would be nice in colder weather. I liked the olde -worlde feel to it .

The bathroom was cramped . The bed was a little high for my wife who is very short. The sofas were comfortable but difficult for my wife to get up from . But having said that we would stay there again .

Love the cottage, but Internet was poor so watching tv was difficult in the evenings apart from that could not complain about anything will definitely book again in the future

Everything and our Xmas tree!

A bit of a busy noisy road for Xmas period considering it was a county lane

My friends and I wanted a cosy place to spend a Halloween-themed weekend, cooking and watching movies, and Bittles was perfect for this, it was very warm and very cosy and there was also plenty of room and facilities for cooking, which was great. There's a wood burner in the livingroom which was lovely. We hope to stay again!

Not a negative point on Bittles but if you don't drive make sure to book a taxi the day before you need it, Dorchester taxis were super busy even on a Sunday!

Authentic cottage with a wood burner and wood left for us. Cottage was warm when we arrived. Location was beautiful and very quiet. Convenient for the activities we wanted to do. Good instructions left .

Nothing. The 2 ladies who slept upstairs did day their beds were a bit squeaky when they moved.
