Bittles Cottage

I loved the quirkiness of the cottage. It was cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. The contact from the owner was really good. She gave really clear instructions on how to find the cottage. Instructions at the cottage were useful. We had a fantastic take-away from the Japanese place in Yovil 😊

One of the single beds was a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful Devon cottage. Perfect setting on the edge of a lovely village.

Lovely cottage with lots of character and homeliness. Very well equipped. Very efficient and easy to light log burner. Great master bed with clean warm linen and duvet. Plenty of space to park 2+ cars. Spacious garden but not dog proof. Excellent communication with the owner. Great location twixt Yeovil and Dorchester.

The major drawback is the bathroom. The bath is under the stairs to the second floor and there is a shower attachment but standing in the bath is difficult. The bathroom is carpeted.

We had such a wonderful time at Bittles Cottage, everything was so homely and cosy, ideal for an Autumn stay. The village is very pretty and feels very rural however it is well connected and well placed for exploring countryside and coast. The cottage itself is like stepping back in time which was exactly what we hoped for however there is everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The beds were so comfy too! The cottage is well equipped with everything you might need and the communication with the host was excellent.

Such a cute cottage, full of charm and comfort. Well stocked kitchen, lovely garden, communication with owner was fab. No detail had been overlooked.

You might struggle with getting up and down to the attic room if you're tall, some of our party had to swap rooms about, but I suppose that's to be expected in a cottage of this age

Lovely quirky little cottage in rural environment. Nice large garden for dogs but not fully enclosed. Comfy beds. Great base for exploring around Dorchester. We loved its "imperfections"!

Farm vehicles a bit loud past cottage during the day but I think that's because of harvest time!
