Ukhozi House

Was told it was a double booking because our request went to the previous owner.

Never got to see it🙁

nice main bedroom and bathroom.

other 2 bedrooms have open bathrooms (one with a free standing screen and a toilet that is not fixed to the floor, lights to the bathroom work together with bedroom, so it’s all on or off. stained linen. massive kitchen with bare minimum utensils. TV area but no TV. no Jacuzzi or hot tub (advertised on site). manual sliding main gate that is difficult to pull and comes off the track. alarm passive face the bed with bright blue light- extremely disturbing. and a run down garden.

The house had everything we needed for a one night stay.

Finding the property was a bit of a mission, as the address on Booking.com, Googlemaps and the envelope with the keys were all different. Unlocking the chain around the gate and then trying to open the front door with all the locks could be made a bit less problematic

A nice spacious property with lots of space. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, with an on suite bathroom each. The house is warm with a fireplace to boot.

Tupperware in the kitchen would have been handy to store food.

Location is nice for the town. House was nice inside but outside is very decrepit.

here is no aircon and the only fan was broken. The heat inside was unbearable and 2 of our party could not sleep - there is no through flow in the house so it became like a sauna. The main gate is broken and off its railing, so opening and closing was a difficult
