Cost and homely with alll you need. This is the 3rd stay in 5 months and I can honestly say we have stayed in both properties and you won’t be disappointed Nicky and her family are fabulous hosts it is peaceful and picturesque you won’t regret staying

"Lovely experience"

The place was lovely , the owner meet us there , she explained everything to us and answered all our questions, the bara brith was lovely , even got milk coffee and sugar in arrival. Would definitely stay here again

"Everything was fabulous!"

A lovely holiday cottage with a stunning view of beautiful countryside, immaculately decorated and well equipped with everything you need, lots of parking space, close to a village with a shop and two pubs and not far to some great local attractions. Jonathan kindly provided us with tea, coffee and milk on arrival plus his amazing homemade bara brith.

"Perfect little break"

Property is spacious , clean and perfect for what we needed. It’s situated on a farm and the view is amazing, surprisingly quiet too even though theres horses around.

Wonderful view across the valley, into the distance. Very spacious, excellent parking next to the cottage, a home away from home and very relaxing. Good TV with streaming channels. Excellent security because it was a horse farm with security gate and well off the road (we were given a key fob to open said gate) Hosts were very helpful, especially with our laundry (no washing machine, as there was supposed to be!)

Difficulty getting into the place! It is ESSENTIAL to let them know ETA and be close to ontime ( impossible for us as we were driving from south of Manchester with motorway queuing several times) There is a gate to the property which requires a code - code could have been sent via Booking.com message, which would have saved a frustrating 20minute wait at the gate! Cold tap in shower did not work at all initially - plumber came, who simply forced it (hubby did not like to do this) due to “scaling up from the “hard water” It was no problem after that and the cottage was wonderful.
