Victoria Cottage, Ironbridge

A cosy little cottage, with everything you need. Comfy beds, nicely decorated and well equipped kitchen. Nice little outdoor space, in a quiet area. The parking is fine, as you can use the pub car park a few metres away. There is a slight slope to walk up and down to the car park.

The stairs are steep, but it's the set of 3 steps on the upper landing that caused an issue. It was very steep, and the top step over hung the 2nd step, which caused me to fall down them twice and my husband once. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, my joints are quite stiff and sore, so I was walking down the stairs slowly at the time. Thankfully, there is a middle landing and a turn before the main stairs start, or I would have gone down the lot. A caution sign might be a good idea.

The cottage had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. very nicely decorated.

Great location within easy walking distance of Ironbridge itself and close to museums. Great pub next door, real ale, good reasonably priced food, nice atmosphere and open fire. Cottage itself ideal for our needs. Very quiet at night. Good communication from owner. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

Not a criticism- more an observation. Very steep staircase to first floor - would not be suitable for anyone with mobility problems but it is an old house and part of the charm/character.

Comfortable cottage, everything provided including tea and coffee with milk in the fridge. The location was perfect, quiet area but with a relatively easy walk to the main attractions of Ironbridge. The information sent prior to our stay was very useful. Although there is no parking at the cottage, there was a parking bay not far away but during our stay there were no available spaces here, luckily we were able to park in the local pub but if this was not an option parking could be an issue for guests.

The stairs to the upper floor bedrooms were quite steep which caused a minor issue for my elderly father who was travelling with us, maybe need to mention this on the cottage information? There was supposed to be a WIFI code in the cottage for free WIFI but we could not find it.

Location- Very picturesque walk along river into town. Many bars and restaurants in walking distance. Immaculately clean and cosy characterful cottage. Easy parking. Good value for money.

Perfect little cottage, well equipped, very homely, great location, warm and cosy, bed comfy. Lovely to see the sunrise through the kitchen window, Great little touch to find some milk in the fridge when we arrived and a real Christmas tree :) We were happy to find the nearby pub open and very friendly, lovely stay, will definitely be coming back. The host was very good with communication, lots of recommendations for the local area. Thank you :)
