Location is beautiful, lovely accommodation

Beautiful barn in very silent location. Hosts checked if everything was ok and were very helpful despite of being away themselves. Great location for walkers and lovely favility. We truly emjoyed our stay.

Location is very remote and far from the village (quite a hike from the village) hence may not be suitable for less fit people unless commuting by car. Top floor had a bit squeeky floor which may disturb in sleep if anyone is resting in bedrooms.

cottage was spotlessly clean, plenty of storage and facilities. Richard came to see us our first night and recommended some places to see. Games room is really well equipped and the views are stunning from the cottage we were in. location is great very easy to get to Llangollen/chirk.

We loved our 5 day break away in this lovely cottage & wonderful location. Lovely and spacious especially the kitchen/ living room which was massive, plenty of space for us all. The bedrooms where airy and spacious too. Spotlessly clean & everything you could want was provided for us. The added addition of the games room just across the way was brilliant where lots of pool was played. If you are a townie like ourselves and you love the countryside this is definitely the place for you. Batteries fully recharged 😁

The views and walks around the property were beautiful as was the cottage itself. Myself, wife and both kids (10, 6) had a very enjoyable stay of 5 nights. The owners live near (as it is a working farm) but were very respectful of keeping a distance and not being intrusive; when we did bump into each other they were always full of smiles. I enjoy birdwatching and on property saw redstart, spotted flycatcher and tawny owl.

Breakfast was not provided at this property but that was not a problem, there was a local store nearby and market town's within an hour's drive where supplies could be purchased. The cottage was immaculate and in a beautiful setting, the rooms were well furnished and everything you needed was at hand. The surrounding countryside was absolutely stunning and provided lovely places to walk. The hosts were extremely helpful when required but were never intrusive, they just let you be to enjoy your stay, and we certainly did. This is one gem we shall continue to visit. Well done to our host's, Mai and Richard.

A stylish and thoughtfully planned barn conversion in an idyllic setting. Good sized bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and a lovely, bright communal space on the upper floor. Our (all adult!) group really enjoyed the games barn and the peaceful outside space, and children would love the playing field, the animals and the paths around the site. Fabulous hosts and the most helpful property guide I’ve ever seen!

The final road to the property is steep but worth it for the views and the unique location.
