Cefn Ceiriog

A superb two bedroom cottage in a beautiful location. The owners made sure I found the place. Welcomed me and then left me to enjoy two lovely nights in a very comfortable and cosy environment. Stunning views, especially from the bedrooms. I just loved this place and will stay again. The village is in walking distance but it’s all uphill on the way back so don’t have too much to drink and make sure you have a torch.

There is nothing not to like about this property.

We were a family of 4 so stayed in the Cefn Bach cottage. It was very comfortable and well laid out, well heated and has a stove as a lovely focal piece in the kitchen dining area. Two bedrooms so perfect for our needs and easily accessible via stairs. As we used it as a base for exploring north wales and snowdonia, it was in a perfect area close enough towns Chirk and Llangollen which have lots of choice for shops and restaurants. There is an on site barn converted into a games room also which the kids appreciated. House is up a steep hill from Glyn Ceiriog which you just need to be aware of but it’s very accessible and you could easily walk down the hill to the local Spar or the hotel or village if you needed to. If you have an electric car or hybrid there is a charger in the village, however there is a fast charger in the Market Street Car Park in Llangollen which we found very good and easier to use.

Property is really lovely, has plenty of presses for storage and it has a washing machine and the WiFi is very good. Might benefit from a dishwasher in the future.

The cottage was very modern, warm and very clean.

There was nothing to dislike.

What an absolutely fabulous property in stunning scenery. We holidayed in October and the weather was variable, but the position close to many places of interest was just right. It is obvious Richard and Mia have put a lot of time and effort into making this property just right .

The location was Beautiful and the cottage was of a high standard. The hosts were very kind and helpful . We had a very peaceful few days. Would definitely go back if we were in the area again .

Nothing to dislike.

Really liked the location of the property, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, the hosts where in contact by text message from start to finish of our stay.

Unfortunately I had an accident at the property, I slipped in the shower, the shower base had no grip and was quite long which meant you had to walk to get under the shower head and walk a few steps to get out the shower. There was no handrail to hold in the shower to prevent falls. This was the only area we wasn’t happy with in the property, we was happy with everything else.
