Cosy home near NEC, BHX Bullring & Solihull

Very clean and good communication with owner who was always willing to answer questions and compromise.

The house was clean spacious .The host reached us before a day to know abt the arrival and he was prepared fr our arrival preety clean new duvets a perfect pitstop fr a family ,kitchen well equiped shoyaib the host was exceptional he made our stay fantastic and comfortable and the price was quite reasonable highly reccomended ,njoyed our stay

To begin our trip, I’d confirmed a check in time on booking.com, and then received quite a stern message on WhatsApp that I needed to ‘look again as the time I had said was wrong’. I then sent them screenshots of where the checkin time i chose said confirmed. they then said I couldn’t come until after 3pm! I had planned my whole day around this original check in time as I had an email explaining it had been confirmed, but was then made to change my plans to fit around the owner,, even though I had a confirmation email. this was already not a good start to the holiday … IT GETS WORSE … The pictures looked great, but when we got there,, we were shocked. we were told ‘nice residential area’ and this is not what we found. we found all sorts going on on the corner outside of the house (I’m sure you can figure out what that was…) when we turned up at the house we were greeted by the owner. they were nice enough. they told us to look around the house and see if everything is ok. the pictures were nothing like what we actually found. the house needs a lot of work. one thing though was the wardrobe in the single room is basically falling over and not secure at all. if a child was to be staying here, and they brushed past this wardrobe, it would fall on top of them. when I told them this concern, it was brushed off and I was told not to worry. the whole house needs work. there was holes in the laminate flooring, cracks in the window ledges and the walls and ceilings, paint missing, a banister rod missing, the front and back gardens were an absolute mess, and the back gate of the property didn’t even lock!! how safe!! the front garden is extremely overgrown, and in my opinion this would take 5 minutes to keep presentable, but instead it’s been left to overgrow. this is just a simple thing that could make the property look a lot better from the outside. the bedroom doors didn’t even have the hinges inside of the handles so we couldn’t shut them!!

Quiet location, house was clean and tidy and the hosts were great,it had everything we required

The host was friendly and met us at the property, living room and kitchen were very spacious. The shower was very easy to use and had good water pressure

There was nothing we didn't really like

Really lovely little home, just perfect for a few nights when travelling for a conference. We see infection prevention and control nurses..... and we can confirm it was very very clean! (And we are hard to please)

Nothing to dislike about the property. Clean, comfortable and good location. Especially for the NEC and NCC and airport. If I was being picky, a vegetable peeler and a smaller pan would of been ideal. But we managed fine.

Hosts are exceptionally helpful and friendly and the house was sparklingly clean. Lots of tasteful touches and plenty of essential items

very clean. comfy beds. well equipped kitchen.

lounge very sparsely furnished. some occasional tables and table lamps would have made nicer. proximity to the airport means it’s not the quietest place to stay.
