Kilronan 4 Bed House on castle grounds

The house itself was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was beautiful and just a short walk to the castle. We had dinner each night at the castle café, and the food and drinks were delicious. We spent a day on rented bicycles in nearby Leithem, and did some shopping in Carrick on Shannon. Overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return!

The only disadvantage was the lack of wifi at the house. We were able to use wifi in the castle with no issue

No showers working in the property at all. I thought they might have let milk out for a cup of tea co wondering we paid over €400 for one night.

Water was shut off for several hours. Host didn’t proactively help. I had to ask her what was going on and she was already aware of the shut off, but didn’t communicate that to us.

Large, spacious, home, convenient location and access to Kilronan Castle. Communicative host.

Cleanliness was good but some areas would’ve benefitted from a more thorough clean -the front entrance way was cobwebby, smudgy tv screen, etc. One of the showers didn’t work during our stay.

Location was excellent, checking in was very easy, 4 bedrooms was very good, the basics were in the house

Main bathroom shower had only one setting full power and hot, you had to get out of the shower to turn it off made it awkward to use

Fabulous house on the grounds of Kilronan Castle. All the comforts of home and lots of space along with having the convenience of the facilities of the hotel on hand. We had breakfast and dinner in the hotel. I highly recommend this house. The host went above normally expected helpfulness with us, and was most accommodating. Her son also helped us, and he was a lovely polite young man.

Ideal location, was a clean comfortable property - would recommend.

The owner of the property texting after to see if we took the fire stick from the property, Which of course we did not! Found her manner inappropriate.
