Duiche an Rí - Delightful Village Home

A sunny place away from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city. If someone is looking for silence and beautiful views, this place is just for such people. Bridge thank you

I like the house and the hostess was very good before visit but location wasn't the best for my needs as it was for work but a nice area all the same

lovely comfortable clean home with all you need to cater for family, delicious home made brown bread and basic provisions on arrival which was so kind. Lovely welcoming host, overall a fantastic experience

clean and welcoming, had everything and more included, Bridget was great and even included hamper of food for us arriving.

it was cozy, clean and spacious.

The comfort, facilities & cleanliness of the property were very good indeed. The House is a great size (probably the best we've stayed in). The hosts were very good, nice & approachable. Bridget was always very helpful & willing to give advice & help - even recommending a local rural Pub for a traditional Irish music session, on the Thursday night - & even phoning up another local Pub, to book us in for an Evening meal - on the night we arrived. We were very appreciative of the welcome Basket, left by Bridget - with Fruit, Breakfast Cereals etc (along with Milk, Sugar & Tea). That was very nice of her The location is in quite a beautiful, rural area. It is only 30 minutes from Cashel, - unfortunately it is quite a distance from Nenagh, Roscrea & Portumna etc, in north Tipperary - the very windy mountain roads north meaning it can take 1 hour 30 minutes to get to these towns.

It is a small Hamlet - however, I didn't realise that there was a Sawmill in the village & the Lorries drive down through it, past the House, at 8am (sometimes waking you up early & making sleeping difficult).

We liked that it was quiet and quaint great wifi beds comfortable for the wife too hard for me shop next door pub over the road not restaurant just a good old fashion pub the bungalow was what we wanted couldn't fault the living arrangements nice touch leaving welcome basket it served our purpose 😀

I know it's a bit of a moan but tv channels was shocking unless you streaming on your own devices pointless having tv on. the fact that it was too far out of the town had to drive everywhere but that's ireland for you
