Luxurious Beach House Chesil Beach. Sleeps 6

Very clean. Amazing location. Safe and secure.

We brought our own Nesspresso Machine as one not provided. Bed a little soft.

Overall well presented in good location. Great couch. Good information in house folder and great touch with the welcome bag.

The mattress in the downstairs bedroom is too soft. Kitchen on the small side for six people, but manageable for 2 nights.

The house was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities needed for a perfect stay.

The location was perfect for a walk along the beach. Parking just outside was a bonus. It was quiet but close enough to the main town, a short car journey, or by bus away. I will definitely be returning.

Such well appointed house in a great location. Early morning walks along Chesil beach and a coffe at Quiddles cafe was a great start to the day and watching the sun go down from the Cove Inn rounded off a full day.

The location was great, close to the beach. The place was very clean and felt quite new, beds were comfy, key access worked fine. Full kitchen altho we only used the kettle. The fridge was large but completely empty! From the back patio one can access a communal table overlooking the beach which catches the sun.

It was advertised as 'Luxury beach house' and priced as such. Having stayed in many many Airbnb's and similar around the world, this was NOT luxury. There were no supplies except for a bag of crisps (very nice) and a paper bag with 4 cheap powdered coffee sachets, sugar sachets and tiny long life milks, 2 biros, 3 old crumbly choc chip cookies in cellophane and a couple of PG tips T bags. No salt and pepper even! We borrowed Sand P from the neighbours and luckily had shopped on the way. No paper towel, tissues and just one dispenser of liquid soap in each bathroom which we both felt was watered down as it took masses to lather. No table in sitting room was awkward. The lack of these small niceties felt 'mean' and certainly took the edge off the 'luxury' claim. We also felt 85 pounds cleaning fee excessive for 2 people staying what was basically one full day and 2 nights (check in 4 and out by 10am, of which we were reminded by email), plus being asked to leave it was found, which ofcourse we did.

It was clean and comfortable and styled well with comfy beds.

Minor issue: the heating was hard to turn down. We set it to 19/20 but took ages to come down from 24°C. (The handbook did say there was a lag but it was quite a while!) We were definitely not cold and the weather outside was quite chilly.
