The Villa Lookout - Queenstown Holiday Villa

Dryer not working, unable to locate manual for use.

- The location, the views, amenities. - Perfect distance from Frankton and Queenstown. - Great parking allocation. - Kids loved the quick access to the lake and walking trail.

- Pillows were rock hard. - Shower could have been cleaned a little better, pink mould visible. - The couch could do would a good steam clean, was a little grubby. - Simple instructions on how to use washer and dryer and the stove top would have been useful. - TV controller was playing up. - Some coat hooks would have been handy near the entrance. - Was a little noisy when Villa B was occupied, you could hear the people downstairs. We were lucky it was only occupied for an overnight stay.

Absolutely stunning view from the oversized window. Loved the sound of spring running from the hill just next to our door, very peaceful! Love the bed and pillows, it is just firm enough to be so comfortable at night, not like some of them which are too soft.

It took us an hour to finally locate the villa as my phone's roaming service wasn't activated back then. We just followed the street number given by the website but couldn't find it anywhere. It was No.535, but should've told us that can only be entered from No. 527. The number of 535 was just nowhere to be seen, except from Google map and only after you enlarged the map. We even tried to contact Booking.com in NZ and asked locals, no one knew where to locate it. Jesus! The fan in the toilet was not quite responsive. So when we want to turn it off, it sometimes just continue, it's loud though. Other than that it was really really good!

location was excellent, loved the lake view and easy access to the walkway.

all the pillows were hard as concrete, very high. no one in our party could sleep in them.

Should have a mirror in room or living area, should provide milk (small pack).

modern, clean, excellent views, good location. quiet. warm.

It would have been good to have drawers for clothes storage. the pillows were extremely hard, would be nice to have a few more pillow options. not enough drinking glasses.
