Rose Cottage

Parking was free just outside the cottage, and it was an easy walk into Shewsbury. The Prince of Wales Pub was close by and quaint.

The coffee machine wasn't working. The washing machine was so dirty we didn't want to use it. The iron had burn makes and the ironing board was wonky. The floors were dirty, shelves were dirty and broken. The corners of the bathroom were dirty, even in the shower. Cook ware was use able, but not well cleaned or maintained. No scissors. The outside furniture was dirty and had cobwebs under it. The freezer was leaking.

Own breakfasts. Location was ok. Asda, Nandos, Harvetster & Chinese are all close by to the property although the crossing of a wide busy road is required which could be difficult for older/less nibble people

The walk into town is about 15 - 20 mins and a little hilly. Instruction on the tv would have been useful - which controller? Notice it is slow to come on/warm up

Very clean stylish nice quiet area. Good location for getting about Asda store 10 minute walk.

Nothing to dislike.

The cottage is beautiful. Very clean and very cosy. Everything you can possibly need is provided. A 20 minute walk to the centre of Shrewsbury. Would definitely recommend Rose Cottage for a short break in the lovely town of Shrewsbury.

great location in a quiet group of houses but near main roads / routes

Nice kitchen & bathrooms. Excellent position with plenty of on- street parking. Short walk into town. Milk in fridge a nice touch. The single beds on top floor were very uncomfortable. Thin mattresses, could feel springs. Probably fine for children, but not for adults, even with a spare duvet used as a topper. Tried using iron - it had not been cleaned for some time.

Minimalist 2-bed terrace house close to the river and city centre with on-street parking. Easy access location. Super equipped kitchen (we could have entertained 6 people). Big walk-in shower and also a ground floor WC. Lovely view from the 2nd floor twin bed roof window. Great communications with the host.

Comfy sitting only for 3 in the sitting room. Cold tiled floor to kitchen/diner - wish I'd brought slippers as it never really warmed up. Single beds (top floor) were a bit springy.

Great location just outside Shrewsbury, easy walk into the town centre

The location was good. The facilities were also good.

The bed slats need some attention.
