Lovely cosy cottage a 15 min walk from town centre

Rose Cottage was absolutely amazing on the side. It is spotlessly clean and roomy. It is very easy to find and only a couple of minutes from the centre of Shrewsbury. Kerry was an excellent host, and nothing was too much trouble .

There was nothing not to like

Location was great - having lived there in the past I know that Shrewsbury can be hilly, but we had a lovely flat walk into town! Having a nature reserve on the doorstep (Rea Brook Valley) was a bonus :-) Kerry's communication was great.

The property was perfectly situated and very comfortable.

Location, close to the town. The welcome treats. The communication with Kerry the owner throughout was fabulous.

Nicely decorated, good facilities, modern kitchen & bathroom, little extras provided eg. milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, helpful property information booklet

Very little, however the staircases are steep and might challenge less able people

Cottage was cold and had to contact owner as we couldn’t make heating come on. Seems it is controlled by owners app. Sitting area is tiny and not very cosy. Cleanliness issues - Washing machine seals covered in mould. Shower silicone mouldy. We were asked to strip the bed upon leaving and saw that the pillow protectors were grubby and no protector on the duvet at all. Only one bedside table and lamp with dim bulb. No chair or

It was ideal for our stay rooms were very clean with everything you could need

Garden could of been bigger but not the end of the world
