Detached, peaceful, spacious with easy access and very large garden

Upon arrival,we were met by Phil who showed us around. The accommodation was spot on with lovely views over the massive garden.The bungalow had everything you could ever need and everything was spotlessly clean.there were also some nice treats for us and our little dog

The location was excellent (although you could hear the A39 from the garden at busy times) , with fantastic views towards the coast across the beautiful big, dog friendly garden. The bungalow was very well appointed and clean and comfortable with easy access. We liked being able to walk to the pub next door for a delicious meal in the evenings. The owner quickly came to our rescue when we managed to trip the electrics!

Perhaps some instructions for using the appliances would be useful.

An amazing detached space with the most beautiful and massive garden-the views are incredible! It’s quiet, but still in easy reach to the beaches. Very clean, spacious and bright. A welcoming place, ideal to relax.

A perfect little property, the garden and views from them were a highlight for us and our dogs. Plus the added extra of an outside hose to wash off the dog etc. after a day at the beach. Although it is only a small property the space has been well utilised. The bedroom space was beautiful and very spacious. A welcome package of milk and scones were greatly received :) We loved it so much we can't wait to book again.

Good location for getting both ways along the North coast and not difficult to go to the other coast. It was also a very short walk to a pub with good food. We liked the space and the large garden with a good range of trees. The kitchen is very well equipped and with plenty of cupboard space for our own food.

We would have liked a rug on the bedroom floor which was fairly cold at beginning of May, and a bit more cutlery and crockery in the kitchen, to avoid running te dishwasher so often.

Everything! The entire property was Perfect!location, beautiful inside and out, cleanliness, light & airy spacious & very comfortable, fantastic garden, eco friendly for recycling, dog friendly and a great host!

Very comfortable well equipped amazing garden

A beautiful, well equipped cottage finished to the highest specification and situated in an ideal location for exploring what Cornwall has to offer. The garden was stunning, with views over beautiful countryside and the sea in the distance. Nicky & Phil were the perfect hosts, providing tea, coffee, sugar & milk for the all-important hot drink upon arrival. But also provided scones, jam, cream and apple juice. Such a lovely welcoming thought. They also gave us some recommendations on places to visit, walks (a lovely walk down the lane from the cottage) and Phil recommended the pub next door and the brisket of beef. One of the best meals my wife and I have had in a while. Words simply do not do Halfway Cottage justice. I would highly recommend the cottage to anyone. Thank you Nicky & Phil for such a wonderful stay, we will definitely be returning.
