Job's Mill Cottage

The location was exceptional The property and gardens were stunning The hosts, Silvy and Iain, were very warm and welcoming. They took time out to explain the history of their property and gave us the opportunity to explore their vast gardens

There was nothing to dislike

Lovely cottage, spacious but homely. Convenient location for Longleat visit.

The heating wasn't working in the twin room on arrival, I told Silvy & she was very helpful, she tinkered with it but it seemed to only come on at random times & the room still felt colder than the other rooms. I just felt it would be nicer to be able to control it independently.

Great location for visiting Longleat Fantastic setting, very comfortable beds , lovely and warm with brilliant under floor heating , spacious with well equipped kitchen . Beautiful gardens

No improvements needed

The kitchen is a fabulous space and was good to prepare meals in. We had glorious sunshine and enjoyed having a coffee in the garden. Made to feel very welcome.

Guests downstairs found the bed uncomfortable and curtains in upstairs bedroom wouldn't close fully which let light in.

location , owners, garden, everything in the cottage we needed. heating was great. washing machine . all clean.

The house was just perfect for a family of 5. The house look even better in real life than in the pictures. We had everything we needed for our stay and the atmosphere in the house just made the stay very nice. The hosts were very welcoming and had already heated the house before we came and it could not have been better. The kids were super exited.

Nothing to add here. As mentioned above the place was in perfect condition and I am sure the host would have sorted out any issues if there were any.

only thing was when we opened the upstairs double bedroom window loads of ladybirds came in- like literally 100 🤣
