Family Bungalow sleeps 4

It was in a good location for our requirements. Was a good size for our group of three. Off street parking. Nice secluded garden/patio area.

A few places in need of some TLC. There is quite a build up of mould/damp in the shower and behind the toilet. The patio was slightly overgrown, would be lovely if there was a small patio set to sit out at. A few of the lampshades need replacing as have gone brittle.

It was okay for what you paid for.

Spacious. Fairly well equipped.

Needs some TLC.

Parking was much better than expected. We were literally parked in the car park at the side of the bungalow. There were steps to the property, which may have been difficult for some but it looked easy to walk around the bungalow and enter through a different gate and this was all on the level. The beds were very comfortable. Although the property was basic, it had everything necessary for a good stay and was clean.

We struggled with the televisions. There seemed to be a mish mash of odd batteries in the remotes, and some were completely missing. Check out by 10am was very early too. Although we were out by then, my husband was sat in the car 10 minutes whilst I struggled to put the keys back in the keysafe. Someone arrived to exchange the bedding but did not want to give him the keys due to security concerns.

One of the bedrooms was quite spacious.

From the pictures that they use to advertise the property I knew it wasn’t going to be modern and new but the pictures didn’t show its true colours. When we got there we noticed how old and used everything truly was. The bathroom had a lot of rust around the showers and pipes. The bedroom had a broken bed (which they did resolve that same night) but why was it even broken in the first place? And the ones that weren’t broken were still very uncomfortable, I could feel every spring. The carpets seemed dirty and dusty. The living room sofas looked worn and stained. Even the cutlery in the kitchen was dirty and again parts of it looked so old, used and rusty. As I mentioned one of the beds was fully broken and although it was of course replaced there was no compensation given back to us as a good will gesture for the inconvenience it caused. The lady I spoke to on the phone was apologetic but James, who I was writing to, didn’t even apologise when he wrote back to my messages.

Nice house for a great price whole working away from home

Good size for 3 of us. Liked having extra space of a living room and small kitchen was handy. Easy checkin/out and free off road parking right next door. Nice secluded outdoor space too.

Beds weren’t the best and bedrooms could do with better curtains or blinds. Shower handle needs replaced as rough and rusty and no soap was provided.
