Location was good

Not been cleaned, broken glass on lounge floor, main bed wasn’t made up, dirty used tissues under the pillow, no fan, no blind in the bathroom, beds uncomfortable, the oven was filthy, blood stain on mattress, sofas were uncomfortable, the freezer compartment not defrosted with food remnants in there, and the property needs a thoroughly good clean, dead flies on window sill in conservatory.

Fantastic location, spacious house, plenty of parking. The train station and bus stop are a few minutes walk away.

The mattress in the main bedroom is very uncomfortable, lots of guests have complained about this. I wouldn't say it was professionally cleaned.

Good space and secure garden for the dog. Excellent location, short walk to seafront.

We had to check out early due to discovering a bed bug infestation in the main bedroom and being bitten multiple times. Having seen reviews that were posted after we had booked, this appears to have been an ongoing issue. Although the property has been refurbished, it hasn't been maintained very well - e.g. the front porch was leaking and clearly had been for some time; and the cleaning is obviously minimal and not much time allocated for it. The conservatory was full of cobwebs and dead bugs.

The bungalow is in a quiet residential road with room to park two smallish cars on the front. It is within easy walking distance to the sea front, 35 mins walk into Whitstable, bus back.

the decor etc is basic. Everything worked well but we took our own tea towels and essentials like extra loo rolls.
