STAY FUJI b

The staff spoke English and we're super friendly and accommodating . Location is super close to the lake

The facilities are older so if you want to see what a house was like in Japan in the 1980s-90s it's kinda cool and like living back then. But if you're a stickler for a modern bath you won't like the bath. But the space is huge and comfortable

It is the second time for us in the area, this time with our children (14&18), therefore we wanted a more dedicated space. stay Fuji proved to be the perfect choice for each of us. It is a topical Japanese home. I call it home, because exactly this is how we felt. We arrived later than expected, as our bus was delayed due to a car crash on the highway, but the host was kind enough to wait for us at the bus station. For us it was completely raining for the last day we stayed, but we enjoyed walking on the streets, catching the fresh air and the deers’ wander. The house, as I said, a family home, it was lovely decorated and very personal. The fully equipped Kitchen was really good for our context, as we had to buy groceries for a couple of times. :) My kids are in love with the place, and I think this says a lot.

Literally everything was lovely.

The hosts were helpful and friendly. It was good to be able to grill over charcoal (which cost extra). The location was perfect for the Yamanakako Road Race. We were able to park our car there until after checkout.

the kitchen had no knives at all. I don't know if this was on purpose, or if we just couldn't find any. We thought it was strange and it was a bit of a problem when we were preparing meals. But we made do without.

Very comfortable rooms with special decorations. A good kitchen with complete utensils. The host was very helpful and quick response to messages.
