Having farm animals as part of your stay and Peacocks!

There was a wasps nest so we couldn't open windows.

The kitchen was large and well-stocked with equipment. The small pool table kept us occupied in the evening. The peacocks resident to the area were a delight!

Very pleasant stay, with a fully equipped kitchen, lovely and clean throughout. Surrounded by nature. We often had little visitors from peacocks and chickens which was so lovely also a lovely view of ponies. Rachel was very helpful with any query’s I had. its definitely a place where you can relax and enjoy. throughly enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely stay again.

I liked everything about the property

The wife & I liked everything about this place, we just wish we could of stayed longer. I'm originally from Abergavenny & was visiting family but we like our own space as well. We have stayed at several places during our visits but "The Old Bull Pen" beats them all hands down. We had our dog with us & it was nice to let him run around outside without worrying about him getting out. Just 2.5 miles out of town but so peaceful, no sound of cars or people going by. All you could here were animals like chickens, a Cockrel, a pony grazing & the odd Turkey Oh and the insects. We were able to get a really good nights sleep with the windows open which was great as the weather was very very warm during the day. This was by far the most relaxing place we have stayed & the best sleep away from home we have had. A very big thank you to Rachel for letting us stay & we will definately be back.

Property is a great size, close to Abergavenny but still feels rural. Very well equipped.

There was a wasp’s nest under the lawn during our stay which wasn’t dealt with, which made us reluctant to open the windows (despite the heat), or to let our dog out in the garden. A real shame.

Beautiful location, very nice kitchen, comfy lounge. Easy to get in, very clean

Mattresses weren’t very comfortable. Would have been nice to have Netflix Bathroom could do with updating.

Great location and an eclectic and interesting collection of rooms/houses, sports facilities,plus guest appearances by the chickens in the late afternoon.

Very spacious and comfortable . We loved the kitchen. Ideal place for a family with children (toys, books,…)

The bedroom and bathroom doors don’t close properly. No issue for us but maybe an issue for others.
