The Old Bull Pen

The cottage is 5-7 mins driving distance from Abergavenny high street so was very convenient . The facilities within the cottage were great . The wifi worked really well for whole family to use devices in parallel.

There wasnt much place to walk around in the farm itself which was bit downer for me however I still kept walking back and forth to Lambs in close vicinity to the house.

Location was great, no road noise, view onto fields with sheep and Shetland ponies. Lovely light in kitchen which was really well equipped. Loved the wood burner which had logs supplied enough for two evenings. Sat outside on the patio area for afternoon cup of tea in the sunshine which was blissful. Really loved our stay.

Second bedroom better suited to children rather than two adults as the beds a little wobbly and no wardrobe. Bedroom could do with an update so both rooms are the same standard.

We liked the guinea fowl wandering around outside and the under floor heating and log burner. We enjoyed the mini pool table.

Single beds were a bit creaky.

Great to see some recent upgrades to the property!

Lovely property and location.

The outlook from the property was lovely. It was tidy and spacious. Out of the few cottages here on the farm, this had the better parking space. It was quite tight space in track to get there.

Although cleaned, there were lots of cobwebs in each room, up towards the ceilings. The bathroom was old and just about in working order, tired but useable.
