The location is perfect inside the fortress.

The bathroom is a little tight and rustic, but it f you know going in, it’s just fine.

The host was very nice. The location was good.

There was no A/C in the upstairs bedroom, and, while I understand the limitations for A/C units in this area, I strongly suggest that the one A/C unit on the property should be updated and moved upstairs, and could cool the house from there. The heat was intolerable, nobody was able to sleep.

Cousy apartment in a wonderful location,

No air conditioning in the loft meant that this room was not useable due to the heat. We had to move the mattress to the ground floor which was easy enough to do.

Location, location and location :)

Ceiling fan in upper bedroom, noisy, not effective and quite a nuisance. Should be replaced with a/c.

We've stayed several times in Monemvasia and this was very nice especially if you have more than two people. There are two very comfortable bedrooms, one up and one down, and a small lounge area with minifridge and coffee machine, etc. The bathroom is microscopic but perfectly usable and stylish. As with most properties in the old town of Monemvasia, it's an old renovated building, so don't expect large modern hotel amenities. The host was very nice and communicative and helpful. Air conditioning is available but we didn't need it when we were there.

Breakfast is not available in the property itself (not uncommon in Monemvasia) but the host had some good recommendations for nearby places to get food. It's a magical place and this is an excellent option located behind the main square on a small quiet piazza. There are chairs for sitting outside as well.
