Location was nice.

House was very dirty, had a roach infestation, mold growing in several places. Beds and linen very dated.

Location is perfect

Nothing negative to report, this was our second stay and will again :)

I visited in the low season, so my assessment of some things are probably different than if I had been there in the summer. I liked that it was quiet and few people on the island. I live in the Asheville area and I needed a quiet break post-Helene. I found it here.

Great location, and kind hosts

The location was great for the beach.

The property is dog friendly which is great, however the carpet in the bedrooms have multiple stains along with the living room couches. The house felt very dirty due to the smells and stains. There were also dead roaches (glad they were dead) in the kitchen.

The location can't be beat, and the size was perfect. For two people, so many of the houses in the area are just too massive. The kitchen had everything we needed, check-in was easy, and everything worked well and was easy to figure out. We'd definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

Really really minor things that thankfully weren't a big deal and can be easily fixed: (1) Not enough toilet paper. The rolls in the bathrooms were nearly empty and there was only one spare left on the kitchen counter, which was definitely not enough for a 4-night stay, and we weren't told it was a BYO situation or anything. But hopefully in the future there will be more of that on hand. (2) The landscaper blasted grass all over my car, which I didn't appreciate. Thankfully, there didn't appear to be any damage from rocks or shells, just grass that will wash off, but still something that shouldn't happen. All that said, those were just minor concerns, and we otherwise had a really wonderful time and would absolutely come back.

Good location, all facilities worked well, no hassle handoff or exit, good basic beach cottage. It would help to have specific instructions with detergent, light switch for required use of the laundry facility. We enjoyed our stay very much!
