An absolute beautiful location-- quite, peaceful 7 restful. Its about an hour from the airport, so a bit of a trip to get there but so worth it.

Ana's place is very charming and comfortable. It is equipped with everything you need (washing machine, dryer, lots of kitchen utensils, etc.). We had acces to a roof terrace with an ocean view. The location is excellent, nearby the ocean and the woods of Furnas.

The apartments are located in a small neighboring village for the town of Povocao. The driveway is along a small, steep road, which tests the driver's skills enough, especially when encountering another car. The apartments are nice. The roof terrace offers views for which this place was reserved. It should be taken into account that the apartments are located in a rural area and relatively close to the cow farm, which could be quite felt.

Communication with the owner was excellent, the owner contacted us even before we got there, she sent precise instructions on how to get to the address. The house looks exactly like on the photos, it is a semi-detached house where the owners live in the second part. I have never looked for accommodation where the owners live, but in this case I can't rely on anything. We almost never saw each other, but when we needed something from them, they were very helpful and nice. During the whole week of our stay, the owner was interested in whether we had everything we needed, but she did it in a discreet way - through messages on booking. The house had everything we needed, we didn't have to buy anything, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, even spices, oil, towels, everything was also provided for washing dishes. Shower gel, shampoo and toilet paper were also in the bathroom. The house is divided so that one bedroom with a bathroom is downstairs and two bedrooms with a second bathroom are upstairs. For us it meant absolute privacy, because we were 4 people, two slept downstairs and two upstairs. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the hallway. Trust me, you will definitely need a dryer. We used it really every day. There is even a smart TV in the living room where you can turn on netflix, you won't see this in the photos, there is an old TV. The only negative, which I think can be found in almost every accommodation on the Azores islands, is the smell caused by the very strong humidity on the island. But after the first day, one gets used to it. The overall impression of the accommodation is perfect and the owner is probably the nicest person I have ever met. On the last day of departure, she allowed us to check out later, provided us things to wash the car, and we even received a handmade gift from her daughter. Thank you very much for everything and we would love to come back again.

The level of care and effort she put into making our stay enjoyable did not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciated her dedication to her guests' satisfaction. Moreover, Ana's friendly and approachable nature made us feel comfortable and at ease, creating a welcoming atmosphere that made our vacation all the more enjoyable. Great location and beautiful house, full of character. The host took care of everything to make sure we have everything what we need for pleasant stay.

The best house that we ever visited until now. Very clean . The kitchen is equipped very well. nothing was missing . There were towels for everyday use and in addition also for the beaches and hot springs. Most of all Ana was very helpful and we enjoyed knowing her.

I liked the apartment very much! It is well equipped. The sleeping rooms are cute and the owner Ana is amazing! Also the terrace on the roof is very nice with views in all directions…
