Quinta da Espadana

A fantastic place to stay to explore east of the island. It's a large renovated farm house, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is gorgeous, a great place to have breakfast. Ana is an amazing host, very welcoming, friendly and generous. I loved staying here, highly recommend.

Such a cool place to stay overlooking a beautiful rural landscape. The host was amazing, tending to all our needs and then some. The freshly made farm treats were the best! Squeaky clean home away from home

Quinta da Espadana is a amazing big house with more then everything you will need. All facilities, all the comfort with amazing hosts that will exceed your expectations. Ana and her daughter were very helpful and friendly. She gave us homemade fresh cheese, eggs, jam, homegrown fruits and vegetables. You can use the washing machine and dryer.

One would not make a mistake choosing Anna's and family place--Quinta da Espadana at Lomba do Botão,139 - Povoação - São Miguel - Açores Povoação 9650-310, such a wonderful place, so peaceful and beautiful! It is easy to get to by taking about a one-hour surreal drive by car from PDL. The house is spotless and has everything one or a family needs for a great stay. Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted by a wonderful super host Anna who provided us with a beautiful welcome basket filled with homemade fresh cheese, eggs, jam, homegrown fruits and vegetables, and locally made items. My friend and I have created unforgettable memories and cannot wait to go back to explore more. Thank you, Anna, family, and beautiful Sao Miguel Island for our splendid experience.

Nothing at all! Everything was perfect. Beautiful location, cute small but big enough town/village just a mile away from the homestead with great places to eat and sightseeing, but the most important-- great people.

The house is very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sparkling clean. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed and there are even a washing machine and a tumbler, for your soaking wet clothes, when azorean rains wet you through. Cherry on the cake is Ana, a true super host. Thank you, Ana!

Very spacious cozy property; well maintained. The terrace on top has a gorgeous view! Ana and family are exceptionally friendly: smooth communication and a very generous complementary yummy greetings from the farm! Not mentioning fluffy cute cats gang that are irresistible to cuddle.
