Dunnottar Cottage

We loved our stay in Dunnotar Cottage! We stayed as a couple for two nights as we were visiting the local Husky Haven. It’s in a great location just around the corner from the historic harbour. The building is a lovely 18thC listed cottage and is well furnished inside with lots of thoughtful touches like board games in the attic, some washing tabs, blankets on the sofa. We bought some extra wood from the local garage so had the fire going both evenings and it felt so cosy. Lovely soft beds too!

Great position, good comms with owner. Cottage beautifully done up, plenty of space. Heating can be put on when needed. Great power shower.. extremely comfy beds. Right near harbour..no problem with parking car...no negatives for us..loved every minute of our stay.

Location. Plus cottage is far roomier than expected

This is our 4th time staying here, so as you can imagine we are more than satisfied. Amazing location and very receptive owner. It's quirky and cozy when the fire is blazing.

It does get cold in the winter, but we had plenty of wood for the fireplace.

Very comfortable and cosy. The kids loved the 'secret den'. Place was very clean and well equipped.

Property information said there were 3 beds, but there were only 2 doubles.

The location of the property. The quirkiness inside. The amazing beds. The shower was so good , the size of the bath towels were just right . The fireplace was lovely and warming

The windows don't open, I like a bit of fresh air circulating . Lack of any welcome pack even milk as a courtesy to start with
