I booked this bungalow for a family Easter holiday,the house was spacious,large comfy bedrooms,everything we needed was there. The children loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Great location the local village shop sold a great stock of items.The hoist was available on the phone when needed.We will most definitely be returning,hopefully this summer

booked this as was looks perfect for a 2 family’s and 4 kids. but as we got there it was terrible! pool table - was broken swimming pool - is soo cold and was unusable hot tub - was broken and couldn’t be used at all sauna - again broken and unusable called the owner - didn’t seem to care it’s a lot of many to pay for everything not to work, was very disappointed but looking at the reviews now a lot of people have had the same problems-

I invited my friends from different cities and I was so embarrassed the hot tub didn’t work and no one sort this issue for us .I payed full amount to use all the facilities and I think in this cold weather the most important thing is hot tub to use as we didn’t have that one.the owner supposed to call and sort that issue and he never did.never come back again

It was spacious and had a nice sized garden and was private. good smart tvs in every room. nice village with pub a few minutes walk.

Facilities didn’t work! Swimming pool definitely not 28 degrees but was useable although too cold for the children to use as much as they liked. Hot tub out of use - phoned and was told it broke in the new year and they were waiting on a part yet this wasn’t mentioned before check in. That was really disappointing as wanted to relax when the children were in bed! Sauna also out of use - as was the games room which had no electricity! Every time you turned the switch for the sauna and games room it would trip the electrics! So out of 4 advertised facilities only 1 worked and that was the cold pool. Health and safety a huge issue especially when the ages of the children are put in at booking. there are two access points to the pool room. One door has a snapped off key in in but that’s countered by a chain lock at the top which is fine. The other door you can’t lock meaning any of the children can gain access to the pool. Disaster waiting to happen. I couldn’t sleep properly or use a double bed as had to sleep in the twin room next to that door in case one of them wondered in. As well as that - the patio doors in the twin room didn’t lock at all - anyone can come in or the children can walk out and it’s adjacent to the drive leading onto the road. Windows in the pool room didn’t work and were open, and one of the doors also didn’t lock which again is an issue. my four year old sat on the stool in the one bedroom to fall off and injure his head and face the first night. The stool was broken where one of the legs bent in. Really disappointed. Paid nearly £500 for two nights to relax and just enjoy but instead had four children who couldn’t use facilities they’d been excited to use. Kettle also broken so had to pour boiling water into a mug from a pot. I was told someone would come the first evening and they didn’t. when I phoned the next day I was told it was hard to get an electrician on the weekend yet looking at other reviews this is a long standing issue.

the potential facilities are amazing if working. the sauna and hot tub wasn’t working and management did not seem interested, we got this for a good price otherwise would have been vastly disappointed the pool is it’s saving grace as it’s fantastic. I messaged with all the issues like the broken kettle but got zero response, should have been more forceful. CHECK EVERYTHING ON ARRIVAL

needs someone to spend a couple of weeks fixing issues, hot tub wasn’t working, sauna tripped electrics, pool room has broken windows you cannot close, pool cues ALL broken, needs some much needed TLC throughout which is a shame as has huge potential
