Great village feel-like location in suburb of Eastbourne with 10 minutes easy car access to town centre and seafront. Excellent for nearby surrounding countryside walking and centrally good for exploration of sights and towns further afield across south downs. Nice cosy cottage base to come back to with two pubs and restaurant close by. Excellent cottage TV services for evenings in. Log burner a plus for comfort. Kitchen facilities very good. Nice clean modern bathroom.

Stairs although quite wide for a cottage still a little precarious on descending, had to take care as felt like a bit of a steep drop half way down. Pillows on bed although fluffed up well when not in use did tend to be a bit lumpy when rested on after a while. Could be improved upon with down filled ones.

The cottage was carefully renovated to a good standard. As an Architect I do appreciate attention to detail.

Beautifully clean cottage and well equipped throughout - chocolates, tea, coffee and various condiments provided were much appreciated extras. Underfloor heating makes the place very cosy, especially after being out in the recent challenging weather! Lots of games and books provided too. Local area is quiet and the beds comfy so we slept well.The enclosed back garden is perfect if you bring a dog, as we did. Great communication with our hosts throughout. Hoping to return!

Have stayed several times before and always had a great stay. Nice balance of a cottage and modern amenities. Pleased to see the standard maintained with updates and replacements as required. Many places start off well and fall away. Not so here.

Location great with good pub restaurants and nice coffee shop in the village a short walk away. Lovely little cosy cottage, well equipped kitchen, shower good and up to date. Comfortable bed. Safe enclosed garden for the dogs.

Nothing! As advertised the 11 stairs to first floor are steep and the ceilings are low. If this will bother you don't book. Personally being able bodied this didn't bother us and we plan to book again.
