Couldn’t turn the heating off melted!!

The views are out of this world. The layout is great for groups and larger families with the bedroom spaces being quiet. The facilities were perfect and it is a cheap uber into town if you don’t want to walk.

The pillows were not great but everything else was outstanding.

Location and facilities

Lack of heating in living spaces… we had to bring electric heaters up from bedrooms rather than use the very Smokey wood fire. Also need either a better axe or a lot more smaller pieces of wood for the fire. Light globe missing, one toilet cistern needs attention, one toilet seat also needs attention

We had a great time during our stay. The location was convenient, and the facilities were very family-friendly. The kitchen was well-equipped with complete utensils and cooking equipment. Water pressure was strong, and every room had its own bathroom, which made things very convenient for our group. The only downside was the lack of a heater in the lounge and kitchen area—there was only a fireplace, which wasn’t quite enough during the very cold weather. However, the rooms did have their own portable heaters, which was helpful.

the view was amazing and all home comforts were there ready for us. very spacious and comfortable.

There did not seem to be enough heating. The bedrooms were warm but the rest of the house was cold at times with no ability to increase the warmth apart from the open fire.

This house is super comfy and made you feel at home from the minute you walked through the front door. Great views from many of the rooms! It was very clean and made for a great stay.

It is an uphill hike back from town.
