The Coach House at Dovedale Manor

The location was perfect for village proximity and longer walks in the Dales. The house was comfortable and large enough for our party of 8 with everything provided for 9 people and enough living room seating and dining seating. It was a simple decor but clean and had everything. We had to call housekeeping to fix a toilet and a door handle and they arrived within the hour and sorted it. Thank you.

Would have been good to have a toilet that wasn't only in the ensuite. If they could squeeze one into the utility space.

The property was very cold when we arrived and did not warm up until the following day. The wall heater in the lounge did not work and the underfloor heating took all night to come up to temperature. Showers are only just adequate and the sinks in the bathroom are stupidly small ( lunchbox size).. Kitchen area very small if catering for 6 or more. One of the sofas was broken (collapsed seat)

Beautiful spacious accommodation that suited us as a group of work colleagues as the rooms all had separate beds and en suites Super spacious and plenty of glasses, crockery etc One of the best places we have stayed

Nothing but there is no communal toilet which wasn’t an issue for us

Possibly needed a communal toilet as we used it for a work meeting and not everybody was stopping there. Only a very minor point.

Good location near to Tissington Hall wedding venue. Plenty of space outside. Nice view.

Very small kitchen space for the number of people staying. Sofas were cheap and uncomfortable. Bathroom handbasin was far too small to be of use.

Good facilities, albeit based on ‘just enough’ crockery, fridge & cupboard space etc.

The facilities at the Coach House were good. However, our family holiday, including our 14 month old granddaughter & 7 year old grandson, was spoiled by 2 sleepless nights, arising from the noise of the hen party next door. Absolutely no problem with the ladies enjoying themselves, our issue is with it not being made clear there may be noise from a large group in close proximity. We would not have booked this property had we known. It is disappointing and disingenuous that the information on the property makes no reference to the potential for excessive noise late into the evening/early morning. James
