The Gold Rise - Sleeps 8 - Garden - Lake Views

We loved our stay at the Bonailie Bothy. Stunning lake and mountain views, great location between Queenstown central area and Frankton area, so easy access to both. The house was spacious and well laid out, with one bedroom and bathroom upstairs on the same level as the kitchen, living and dining; and three bedrooms, a bathroom and second living area downstairs. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Split system heating worked well. We didn't use the fireplace but it would be lovely in winter. Stylishly furnished, beds were comfortable.

The laundry rack wasn't very sturdy, we would have appreciated a second one as well.

Great location, not far from town. We were golfing, so 20 minutes away from all the courses. Great view of the lake and relaxing on the balcony was great.

Unfortunately we arrived to find the house hadn’t been serviced. Spoilt the initial impression.

I give 11 to this property. It is a different category, very nice new house with lookout on the lake, mountains and airport farther in the valley. Equipped in a way that you would like to move there, with a huge garage. Close to the city centre and super comfortable.

It would be nice to have some kind of a roof over the terrace that would enable us to stay there during rainy day. But this is just a hint to owners, not a real "not like" comment.

Beautiful house in a great location with breathtaking views over the lake and of the Remarkables. Easy access into Queenstown using local transport links. The house was very well equipped and very comfortable

Enjoy the stay of 5 nights at the house. Location is convenient and view is amazing.

Lots of plates with small cracked, owner should replace.

House was perfect for our family with fabulous decks looking out over the stunning Queenstown landscape.

We had a perfect stay at the bonailie bothy! The house was so equipped with everything we needed. A full kitchen, some pantry staples, plenty of dishwashing and laundry powders. A lovely bottle of rose waiting in the fridge on our arrival. The house was warm and comfortable. The location was so good, so close to the city centre as well as supermarkets and the view was everything we had dreamt of. We had a car and it was a very short drive to everything and the garage was great. Jen was responsive and helpful whenever I needed it. The two living areas made life so much easier for our family of 5 with the extra space. Perfect stay, would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Queenstown!

Nothing - we were so sad to leave. It felt like home

The views were amazing and the layout was lovely. We enjoyed the two living areas and bedrooms on different floors. The house was just what we needed for a combined family holiday.

Loved the view, floor plan is perfect for families with 2 lounge rooms to utilize. All the beds were comfy and Warm. the fireplace was great, the floor heating and towel rack heaters were wonderful for the cool mornings. The home is definitely one we will recommend to other Aussies travelling to Queenstown!

Dining table was sticky when we arrived, had to be wiped down. Oven smoked for 2 initial uses, has to open all windows and doors to let smoke out of house. Hot water ran out after 4 people showered. Ash bucket underneath fireplace was FULL when we arrived so we had to clean the ash out before use. The yellow and Red bins were both full to the top when we arrived.
