Everything about the cottage was brilliant.....cleanliness,comfort and facilities were first class. The owners instructions were very clear and straightforward and I knew that I could get in touch with them if I needed to. I will certainly book it again.

Nice quiet location on the edge of town easy access. Hosts were very friendly and happy to help.

Tidy home with plenty space. Enclosed garden is a bonus for dog owners. 10min walk to all of the attractions and shops in town. Local grocers and playpark within a stones throw from front door. Theres even a fire pit in the garden so you can sit out back by a fire at night and star gaze.

Cant fault it.

Freezer compartment completely iced up and unusable. Pots contaminated with food residue and had to be scrubbed before use. baking trays and frying pan unusable due to burnt on grease and food residue. Unsealed bowel cancer screening kit found in casserole dish in utensils cupboard, Message sent to owner outlining above and responded with apology stating that pots and pans were not inspected as cottage booked 99% of the time and said she would add these to cleaners list. No offer to address problems during our stay. Subsequently discovered that shower tray was dirty and temperature controls kept falling off. Laminated wood flooring appeared clean but was actually covered in dirt which became obvious by wiping with a dry tissue. Kitchen, bedroom and sitting area had wood lice crawling on floor. Message from owner as we left saying she had instructed the cleaner to do a deep clean. Several photos/videos of problems taken and can be produced if required.

An excellent cottage that contained everything we needed for our three night trip to Kirriemuir over the Hogmanay period. The kitchen had everything we needed, the milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were a lovely addition. Great location, easy walking distance to the town centre. We found Kirriemuir to be very dog friendly, the cottage was ideally placed for the walking network.
