Firmer pillows or a choice of pillows would have been great

Case Elisa overlooks the harbour (see picture) which can become quite busy, but the apartment is a cool, comfortable haven away from the tourists. The room was very clean and spacious with a very large dining area and well-equipped kitchen. Our breakfast was at Bar Stazione, a small café next to the station, with options of omelettes, eggs, pastries or toasted sandwiches. The café has an outside seating area and the staff were very pleasant.

I would have liked to have had a message from the host a day or two earlier just to confirm everything with OK, but it was the busiest part of the summer so I assume they were also dealing with several other clients. Not really a complaint, just thought I'd mention it.

I knew what to expect and was not disappointed

Location was terrific albeit a little difficult to find, apartment was well appointed, clean and quaint.

Apartment was very hot and the Air Conditioning did not work well. We may be snobby Americans who like A/C but it was just uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The place is very small and tight, sleeping arrangements were very tight and claustrophobic, I could not sleep in the bed due to apartment being so hot with little air flow.
