Country Cottage Rotorua

I liked that the house had a full kitchen and washing machine and was close to Rotorua in a lovely quiet rural area. The chickens and ducks were so cute. Kids would luv them.

I feel the bedding needs an upgrade to be a perfect experience. The pillows were a tad flat and cotton sheets would be more comfortable than microfibre sheets.

I was thinking the outside area will be a bit more spacey, garden area but it was still nice.

This is a peaceful, clean, spacious property ideal for a couple or family with young children. It's a few km/miles from Rotorua, which is great if you are looking for a quiet, out-of-town base for exploring the area. You probably need your own car, though, as you are likely to need to drive into town if you want to eat out etc (it's an easy drive). The hosts were welcoming and helpful and, overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to go back there one day. Thank you.

It's a relatively minor thing, but a tumble dryer would have been useful to go with the washing machine (there is a drying rack). Otherwise this property had all we needed.

Peaceful location. Patting the horse and cows. Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Our host was lovely and gave us feed for the chickens. Loved the Christmas decorations!
