"Would return"

8.0

Loved the feel of the place. It was cosy and had most of what you needed. Hot tub was definitely a reason we booked this place. It was very quiet at night and the bed was soo comfy.

The location was slightly out of the way. However there was parking for us and a petrol station/small shop not far from the place. There were a lot of cobwebs and the kitchen and floor wasn't very clean. Only other gripe is the hot tub took far longer to heat up/ lack of instructions was the issue.

The location was fab and privacy was fab and peaceful

That the restaurant wasn't dog friendly as we took our dog and had to go out to eat but there was cooking facilities in the cottage we stayed in but all in all I really enjoyed our stay and so did our dog

"Unfortunately way over priced to end up so poorly!"

5.0

Property was perfectly located for privacy, has a great outside space to sit & relax. Didn’t get to use the hot tub as we were out, but looked great.

Would not recommend for anyone with any kind of mobility issues as it is up some steep steps, although more manageable steps are accessible directly from the parking at the side of the pub. Stayed for 2 nights & first night was great, lit the fire & it was lovely. Second night after having a full day out & returning to the property we found it smelt really really badly of damp, bedding had a damp feel to it. Not pleasant at all, pub was closed Monday & Tuesdays so nobody on hand to address this. Had we of not lit the fire the first night we probably would have noticed the smell sooner & also probably of been far more ill than 24 hours in bed after our visit. Returned home both became very poorly with chest infections, one of which suffers with asthma so this was not good. Location & initial appearance was great, very over priced for the actual condition & being so ill as a result! Would not recommend for anyone with any kind of medical conditions with the chest.

"A special cottage"

10.0

Our 3rd time in betws-y-coed and the best yet due to this lovely cottage. Its garden with log burning hot tub was like a piece of paradise set up a height with beautiful views of the forest trees it was lovely to relax back there each afternoon after a morning hike. Inside the modern open plan kitchen/living room was exactly the style we like with the kitchen having everything you need and more. We fell in love with this cottage

Even though I have not marked score down there is a few things to mention for future guests the cottage does not have WIFI also if any guests are not too mobile on there feet the cottage is up steep set of stairs with car parking spaces sparce at the pub. Plus a gate at front and back enterance would have been handy as we had a dog so had to place chairs here to stop dog escaping onto the main road

Excellent location, within easy walking distance to the village. Very private cottage, everything you need, thoughtful bottle of Prosecco left for arrival.

Slight musky smell when we entered the cottage, to be expected given that it’s tucked away in a wooded area.
