Ty Gwyn Cottage & Hot Tub

Clean - modern - good facilities - very comfortable bed - excellent fire - host was very polite

Smell of damp in the bathroom was overpowering. Wasn’t made aware that the pub and restaurant was closed on a Monday and Tuesday, the dates of our visit. The path up to the cottage is extremely treacherous, to the point of it being very unsafe at night and in cold, wet and icy weather. The outside lighting did not work so we had to rely on phone torches. Metal steps extremely slippery and the cold, damp leaves on the ground were a health hazard.

The location was perfect on the outskirt of the village. Secluded spot, yet Hotel only 2minutes away serving great food and drinks. The Hot Tub was a great touch, especially after a day on Snowdon!!

There was nothing to complain about.

Prívate location at the back of the pub. Tastefully decorated. Clean. Good location for visiting snowdonia national park. Woodland to the rear with footpath for dog walk.

Poorly lite access path to the property. Hot tub- not used as ants all around the tub and needed to make a fire Teo hours before getting in to the arm up the water. Also lacked privacy as some outdoor pub seating area overlooked the hot tub. Car parking outside the pub was limited at times- usually when most needed at the end of the day.

A wonderful cottage. Fantastic terrace and hot tub. To access the main hotel within a few steps was excellent. So much character in the hotel and great food at the hotel .

The bed was very comfortable and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing under the ✨ The property was clean and comfortable and had all we needed.

The parking was difficult did not like parking on the side of the road, the car park had limited spaces however there isn't much they can do about it. Limited storage for clothes.
