Muy cómodo y me sentí seguro en la zona. Hospedarse en esta casa es toda una experiencia, te transporta a otro lugar y otra época... Quizás un poco tenebrosa, pero disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia aquí!! Lo recomiendo mucho!!

1. La tele nunca conectó a internet. 2. Nos dejaron muy poco papel de baño. 3. Habían cucarachas, hace falta fumigar. 4. El baño de abajo no tiene focos.

Great location for the historic downtown. The host was very responsive and helped us when the fan broke.

The bedroom with twin beds gets too much light and it’s hard to sleep in. We wanted a hair dryer, but there wasn’t one. Lastly, there were a lot of mosquitoes and it would’ve been great to be told to keep windows and doors closed to prevent them from coming in.

This is a genuinely colonial house with immensely high ceilings and large beams, full of character. If you are looking for bland, condo-style comfort and luxury, this may not be the place for you. The hot water is abundant but takes a while to arrive, and in the shower, it is very hot for a rather short time. Having a filter on the kitchen water supply is excellent but somewhat restricts the flow. One bedroom is reached through the main bedroom; the other has two twin beds, but (not the owner's fault) this was hard to use because of a baby screaming at odd times. The lack of anywhere to hang a wet towel was awkward; just a plastic clothes rack would do the job though would not be in keeping with the decor of the house. All this said, we enjoyed our stay here. The bedrooms are comfortable, and the kitchen and living room provided plenty of good living space. The location is excellent: a short walk to the Zocalo in one direction, and to the useful Isabela la Catolica metro station in the other. It's also easy to walk to the Alameda Park. In the immediate neighborhood, things seem to be in transition, with student-type cafes and a variety of restaurants, and some nice old streets behind the metro station. I would recommend this house if you are not looking for flawless luxury, and are able to enjoy the quirks and character of a really interesting colonial house.
