It's a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. It's got plenty of space and is well equipped - exactly as described. It was exceptionally convenient for the town.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. It was just like the photos and description. Lovely.

Lovely cottage and host, very peaceful and town was friendly, close and quaint. Interesting books and jigsaws to mull over ans the tea and biscuits were a nice touch.. really enjoyed our stay.

Die Lage zwischen York und Kingston-upon-Hull ist fantastisch. Das Cottage ist liebevoll mit vielen Kleinigkeiten eingerichtet und Helen und Patrick sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, es gibt nix zu beanstanden, allles vorhanden. Sehr nette Gastgeber, alle Geschäfte nur ein paar 100 m entfernt, Eigener Parkplatz auf sicherem Gellände mit Tor. Garten zur Mit-Benutzung frei, SEHR GERNE WIEDER ! !

The location of the property, situated close to the town centre shops, cafes, takeaways etc. Carpenter's Cottage was very comfortable, and the kitchen well equipped. Patrick & Helen are very welcoming & helpful owners. Secure, off-road parking was a bonus.

"Home from home"

A very warm welcome from hosts Patrick and Helen. A wonderful little home from home in a very quiet street less than five minutes’ walk from the centre of town. There is private parking immediately adjacent to the door of the cottage in a gated yard. Downstairs kitchen, dining and lounge combined. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Upstairs is a large double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Very comfortable, large double bed.
