Love quite rural views

We had an amazing stay here while celebrating our wedding. The house was beautiful,, and had incredible views. The hot tub was a highlight! Rochelle was a fantastic host and even left us a thoughtful gift, which made our stay extra special. Highly recommend!

I felt like I had returned to my own home and was very relaxed.

Rochelle welcomed us straight from our arrival so we felt at ease. The house is confortable, kitchen is great and the beds are top qualities. The hot tub in winter will certainly be a plus. Thank you Rochelle.

Lovely property, the hot tub was amazing and kitchen was perfect, everything you could have needed. The outside space was peaceful with fab views. Good facilities like washing machine etc. Huge TV with Netflix.

Contacted the owner before trip to say there would be 2 of us not one, Originally she said it was fine even though I offered to pay more, next day changed mind and asked for an extra $200, I was already on way with adult son at this point, then asked for bank details two days in and she again said not to pay as there had been an incident where two men arrived outside private, open glass sliding doors, as I was getting out of the shower with a small towel only just covering me and they were starring and had to be asked to leave twice! I felt very exposed. Host was lovely and dealt with this, however I kept doors locked when showering for the rest of the stay. After having left Was then asked for extra money as still some dog fluff about (it clings to everything). I did decline as the constant yes / no made budgeting tricky and made me feel anxious. The bed in the master room sloped slightly on the left side, big list of house work required before leaving such as vaccing twice as I had dogs in a dog friendly place. I took out and separated rubbish, cleaned surfaces inc table that weren't used, mopped dining area floor, wiped sofa as little dogs hairs were floating about. I should have brought my lint roller which I normally carry (thats on me) Unfortunately the owner still felt this wasn't enough, even though I booked through booking.com not an air bnb and the booking did not state cleaning required. I had covered sofa with my own clean towels just in case little one crept on sofa while I was sleeping. The intrusion was no fault of the host who was very empathetic about this, but along with cleaning and money niggles made the experience less relaxing. Really beautiful place and worth the trip, just need expectations to be clearer and probably not suitable for dogs with fur.

Super schoon huisje op een prachtige locatie. Hottub is geweldig. Keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Contact met eigenaresse verliep soepel en snel!

We had a wonderful stay at Willowbank retreat. The location was lovely- great if you're looking to relax with the convenience of a short drive to town. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus! We got that started and had a nice soak under the stars. The accommodation was modern and mindful with some personal touches and cool style too it.
