Seaside Retreat in North Bay - with parking

Windows are a bit old - some don’t close properly And it gets really cold and windy although the heating was on. Frying pan needs replacing

The location is almost on the highest point in Scarborough which results in fantastic views of both south and north bays all of the rooms have very good furniture

The property has suffered some form of water ingress which has dried but damaged many walls and ceilings which in all honesty lets the place down, but the owners are aware and we are sure it will be rectified shortly

Lovely house in a great location, close to the sea. Rooms are a great size and this is comfortable accommodation for a group.

There were quite a few maintenance issues, such as leaks and water damage, a plug not working in the bathroom and the washing machine being out of order, despite it being listed as a facility on the accommodation details.

The house was amazing inside....so much room. In a brilliant location between north and south bay. The views are amazing

There was a scaffold up (we were told about it) didn't mind at all as you could still see the brilliant views. But on the 3rd day of the week the windows were boarded up with plastic (due to the renovations) and we couldnt even see out of the window. The decor inside could do with updating as well.

The house was really clean inside. It's really big and with more rooms than we needed in the end. No one slept in the twin by the living room. We apresheated the child friendly things around like children books and plastic cups and plates. There were lots of little touches that made it family-friendly. I would highly recommend this house (despite the outside issues) to family and friends. I would want to stay there again.

We were dispointed by the outside space. This area had definitely not been cleaned for some time. Lots of old bird droppings. The swing seat and table with seating were broken and not safe to use. The wood was completely roten in places. After seeing the photos online we expected this would be a nice area to sit with our children but we couldn't use it.

Interior was much better and better equipped than expected. Very roomy and comfortable.
