Seaside Retreat in North Bay - with parking

Location was excellent. Facilities were very good.

The lower shower needs a new hose and the temperature control does not work leaving the water scalding. The banister is held together with rope. The towel rails in the second floor bathroom are coming away from the wall. There is damp on the ceiling of the second floor from a leak in the shower above. There is also damp on the dining room wall by the window. Could do with a lick of paint outside and the hand rail has a large rusty gap.

Some areas a little tired, the decking needs an overhaul but overall a beautiful house , would definitely recommend n cater for everything you could ever need.

All of the ocean views, and it was very clean. Nice kitchen and we loved having the washer and dryer

Internally it was amazing very comfortable and spacious bathrooms were fabulous it was also very well equipped with everything you could possibly need

Externally it was quite shabby needs a bit of a facelift and windows desperate to be cleaned although can appreciate what a task it must be.

Great size property with plenty of space for our party of 7.

The house is showing many signs of a lack of maintenance. We counted so many little jobs that need doing that have previously been reported, some over a number of years. Its obvious the owners pay little attention to what people are telling them. I wouldnt put up with a leaking shower, threadbear carpets, flaking plaster/paint, dirty windows etc in my own home so I feel a little disappointed that we experienced this when paying around 1800 for a weeks stay. Also it's nice to have condiments in the cupboard but when some bottles are over 2 years out of date it doesn't give you much confidence in the cleaning of the property. The windows on the top floor really need safety locks on, we have a 2 year old that does what most 2 year olds do and any handle within reach is something she will grab, there is around a 40 foot drop out of the windows and this really needs addressing. Overall we counted around 50 issues that if tackled when first reported by previous guests would be easily solved but now its at the stage where it could do with a fair bit of money spending on
